Professional career
Graduate in Dentistry at Federal University of Alfenas (Brazil) in 2001. Periodontics training and Masters at the University of Campinas in 2005. PhD in Periodontics at the University of Campinas (2007), with one year scholarship at Ohio State University (USA).
Former professor of the department of Clinic and Surgery at the Federal University of Alfenas (2002-2003). Former professor of the college of Dentistry at Ingá University Center (2007-2017). Former coordinator of the residency program in periodontics at State University of Maringá.
Currently
Associate professor of the Department of Dentistry at State University of Maringá.
Member of the steering committee of the National Osteology Group Brazil.
ITI (International Team for Implantology) fellow and speaker.
Expert Council Member of Osteology Foundation.
Besides the academia, he maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants in Maringa,PR, Brazil. Author of several national and international peer reviewed publications and book chapters, his research focuses are periodontal plastic surgery, and bone regeneration.
